About the Badge
The Light Infantry cap badge features a bugle horn — the traditional symbol of light infantry regiments — reflecting the regiment's origins in the fast-moving, skirmishing infantry tactics that defined light infantry warfare from the Napoleonic era onwards. The bugle horn connects the Light Infantry to a centuries-old tradition of swift, agile soldiering.
