Celebrate the heritage of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards with this officially licensed cap badge display piece. In 1922, the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards and the 7th (The Princess Royal's) Dragoon Guards were combined to form the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards. The regiment gained the 'Royal' prefix in 1936, became mechanised in 1938 and joined the Royal Armoured Corps in 1939. In 1992, it merged with the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards to form The Royal Dragoon Guards.

About the Badge
The 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards cap badge is built on an eight-pointed rayed star. A central circlet bears the motto Quis Separabit (“Who shall separate us?”) and the Roman numerals MCMXXII, marking the regiment's formation in 1922. Within the circlet is a cross surmounted by the coronet of the Princess Royal.
