Official MOD-Licensed Military Display Piece
Celebrate the heritage of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards with this officially licensed Cap Badge Display Frame. In 1922, the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards and the 7th (The Princess Royal's) Dragoon Guards were combined to form the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards. The regiment gained the 'Royal' prefix in 1936, became mechanised in 1938 and joined the Royal Armoured Corps in 1939. In 1992, it merged with the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards to form The Royal Dragoon Guards.
This display features a precision reproduction of the distinctive 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards cap badge, presented within a premium deep box frame against a professionally pigment-printed regimental backing. The badge and backing are carefully hand mounted, with each finished display individually assembled in Leicestershire.
